D.Pharma also called Diploma in Pharmacy, is pursued by the students in the medical field of Pharmacy. D.Pharm means two-year Diploma in Pharmacy. It is generally a course for hospital oriented pharmacy i,e dispensing pharmacy. The person who has completed D. Pharm can be employed as registered pharmacist in Hospital and Community pharmacies to dispense drugs and pharmaceuticals.
Eligibility
To get admission into D.Pharm course, candidates must have to pass class 12th standard examination or equivalent with Science stream. In India students can study this education course after successfully completing Standard Twelve in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics as subjects.
